LEGS |
• Use easy comb adhesive to comb leg

• You can get this adhesive from
most livestock supply stores

• Spray lightly with coat dressing
and comb or blow in to give
shine and set hair.

SHOW HALTER
& STICK |
• Use a round strap show halter
(sometimes called a dairy
halter) for showing.
• Use a show
stick long enough that you can
move rear feet while comfortably
standing beside an animal.

SHOWING |
• Stay calm, keep animal's head
up.
• Always move show stick in a slow
deliberate motion.
• Pay attention to judge, but
watch your animal also, to
maintain control.
• Do not smile - smiling needs to
be done after the class is over.
• Set front feet square and back
foot on judge's side 4 inches
behind other foot.
